Redact-It® Features & Benefits
Redact-It users can search for and redact by word/phrase, phrase list, text pattern, or zone. The redacted version is saved as PDF, TIFF or CSF, leaving the source file untouched. Redact-It for FileNet Capture releases both redacted and un-redacted versions of the file to the specified location in the release script: repository, website, network location or workflow process.
- Redact-it supports virtually any format, including Microsoft Word, PDF, TIFF and even CAD formats.
- Use Redact-It’s built-in pattern recognition to automatically redact all instances of a phrase, name, social security number, phone number, account number, monetary amount and more.
- Redact-It completely removes redacted content from the output file so your enterprise can confidently move documents through the workflow process knowing that no hidden text, document properties or other metadata is transferred to the redacted file.
- Enterprise version allows users to publish to IGC’s proprietary Content Secure Format (CSF) for added security options such as password protection, file expiration date, watermark or print banners, and usage restrictions for print, copy, markup/annotate, views.
- Helping to meet compliance needs, Redact-It lets users assign reason codes to identify different redaction reasons, and provides comprehensive audit logs which include extracted text file, redaction mapping, thumbnails and redaction summary.
