The Redact-It Enterprise Server uses patent-pending
technology to intelligently remove sensitive content and privacy
information from documents as an effortless part of your business
processes. Redact-It creates a PDF, TIFF or CSF rendition of
the redacted file, leaving the source file untouched. Redact
individual documents on-demand in an automated workflow process
or redact entire folder hierarchies as a batch process. Use
complex expressions to automatically redact all instances of
a phrase, name, social security number, phone number, account
number, monetary amount and more. Or, redact predefined block
out zones on common image document types. Redacted content
is actually removed in the output file, not just covered, as
is hidden document data or metadata.
And Redact-It supports any document type,
including Adobe PDF, TIFF and Microsoft Word and Excel.

Question: How
is Redact-It Enterprise better than other alternatives?
Redact-It Enterprise performs true redaction,
with the redacted (blocked out) content being removed as it
is saved to a PDF or secure CSF rendition. Redact-It
removes redacted text strings in a way that is impossible to
de-engineer (which is technically possible in other solutions
since the font and character sizing of each letter removed
remains). Search for and redact words/phrases at one
time, or redact from a list of phrases.
