technology, today announced the release of its next-generation
Redact-It™ Enterprise Server software. This release of Redact-It
Enterprise is the newest offering of the company’s comprehensive
set of redaction solutions for the desktop to the enterprise.
The Redact-It software suite is the only comprehensive solution
covering scanning, desktop and server software that can intelligently
detect and automatically remove privacy information such as
social security numbers, names and phone numbers before making
documents secure and available to a wider audience. Once information
is redacted, the software creates a new PDF, TIFF or secure
Content Sealed Format (CSF) rendition, leaving the source file
untouched. No metadata or redacted data is transferred to the
rendition.
According to a recent report on public information
disclosure entitled The State of State Disclosure, “State governments
