Informative Graphics Offers Redaction Software For Legal, Courts
Redact-It Provides Complete Solution for Removing Privacy Information, Sensitive Content from Legal Documents and Public Records
SCOTTSDALE, Arizona — March 13, 2008 Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), a leader in content visualization, collaboration and redaction technology announced today its complete suite of Redact-It™ software products for the legal industry and courts. Redact-It intelligently removes sensitive content and privacy information like social security numbers, names and phone numbers before producing documents to the courts or opposing counsel, or before placing on a public website.
The latest addition to the Redact-It product family, Redact-It Desktop is the first low cost desktop application offering the ability to find and redact information within a document using pattern recognition. Redact-It includes many built-in macros to redact privacy information, including a person’s name, phone numbers, social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, credit card numbers, birth dates and more. Or users can create custom search macros and scripts for specific needs like account or ID numbers.
Redact-It Enterprise offers automated redaction of legacy documents or integrated redaction as part of a workflow process. Redact-It Enterprise is scalable and can handle high volume document loads. It also has built-in pattern matching and the ability to create custom patterns. Redact-It for Kofax® Ascent Capture®, which works directly within the Kofax batch process to remove the data from selected redaction zones with associated OCR text, typically as files are bulk loaded into a document repository.
